Promote sustainable development and green building in North Florida through open, collaborative education and leadership
Commitment
To promote cost-effective design, construction and operation of buildings that are healthy places to live and work, while being environmentally responsible, and profitable.
Goals:
Education
- Strive for 50% of membership to attend a USGBCNF educational event
- Recruit enough qualified instructors for anticipated demand
- Education decision makers on the benefits of sustainability in our region
Organizational Excellence
- Create policy guidelines and best practices manual for the chapter
- Identify and train next generation of leadership
- Measure key chapter metrics
Growth
- Increase membership by 10% (3% of which should come from outside counties)
- Create a good first experience for members and potential members
- Create effective recruitment and retention program impact
- Create effective metrics that can be used as a tool
- Double the chapter’s contacts and expand our reach
- Increase and build our strategic alliances
